I called 5 suicide helplines in Nigeria and I am speechless. I couldn’t get in touch with anyone and no one called back, one of my friends called back in the morning. But the real reason I called couldn’t even be achieved. Now I wonder how many times people would have been looking for that one call or conversation that might just keep them grounded and start their healing journey but couldn’t have it. I’m so sad.
