The Department of Education uses the Early Learning & Development Standards (ELDS), Birth–Five, which covers communication/literacy, social-emotional development, physical development, approaches to play/learning, and cognitive development. So I aligned the curriculum to the 12–24 month Early Toddler indicators, while still layering in the letter/phonics.
