Hiking in Point Reyes with @Lisa (who taught me lots about tidepools and tides)! First time “hiking” on a beach and it was so cool to see different things that I usually don’t see, especially so early in the morning. Def worth the early wake up! Anyways if you plan on hiking point Reyes seashore wear appropriate shoes because things can be slippery even without tides actively reaching where you are and there are bunch of sharp rocks and mussels if you don’t have good grip on your shoes. And check the tides!! I use the NOAA tide predictor We went when the tide was estimated to be -2.14 ft at the lowest around 6:48 AM.
