Why it worked

The video likely worked due to the shock value of the extreme filth in a familiar fast-food environment, combined with the creator's relatable disgust and the surprisingly high payment received for the job.

Summary

The creator was called to clean an entire McDonald's restaurant, including the kitchen, outside, and restrooms. They encountered extremely dirty conditions, including carbonized grills, greasy floors, and even live rats in the restroom. After a long and difficult cleaning process, they finished by cleaning the playground equipment and picnic tables, remarking that it was one of the most disgusting cleans they've ever done.

Structure

1Introduction to cleaning a McDonald's
2Describing the extreme dirtiness of the kitchen
3Cleaning the restrooms and finding live rats
4Cleaning the exterior and playground
5Cleaning the picnic tables
6Revealing the payment received

Product placement

McDonald's: APPEARS - a restaurant chain logo is visible on a sign. Removing it would not change what happens in the video. professional degreaser: ACTS - used to clean the grills. Removing it would change what happens in the video.
