This is absolutely the worst advice that you could ever listen to on TikTok Shop because people are getting it completely wrong. And honestly, I'm seeing this being repeated over and over and over. And it's affecting creators and keeping them small. People are being told, do not do non-shop content on your shop page. Don't do it. Don't do anything that isn't directly selling because you're going to confuse the freaking algorithm. But here's the thing. Your goal was never supposed to be just a TikTok Shop affiliate. Your goal should be to become a creator that people know, trust and wanna buy from. Because reach, baby, it is powerful. Having an audience is powerful. And I think we forget that TikTok Shop is still social media. People are still buying from people. Yes, product content matters. Yes, conversion matters. But if you're only focused on the next sell and not building the person behind the products, you are leaving so much freaking opportunity on the table. And I see so many people hit that 5,000 mark, unlock TikTok Shop, and then they stop thinking, stop growing. Don't do that. That's when you should be thinking bigger. Because imagine having 5,000 people who know you, who trust you, who are paying attention to you when you recommend something. That is powerful. Followers aren't the entire game, but an audience that trusts you, that is an asset. So stop being afraid of growth, because someone told you your account is going to be confused. No. The algorithm is not your biggest problem. The biggest problem is playing small because you're scared to test, create and grow. Keep building, keep learning, keep becoming a better creator. Because TikTok Shop is a tool, but you, baby, you are that brand.
