Joybuy
Why it worked
The video successfully blends a relatable lifestyle activity (cozy movie night) with a clear, functional demonstration of both the shopping platform and the product, making the promotion feel like a helpful recommendation.
Summary
The creator demonstrates using the Joybuy app to purchase a Magcubic projector and showcases its features during a home movie night. The video includes a discount code for the Joybuy platform.
Structure
- 1Introduction to the movie night setup
- 2Demonstration of browsing the Joybuy app
- 3Unboxing and feature overview of the Magcubic projector
- 4Demonstration of the projector in use
- 5Call to action with discount code
Product placement
Joybuy: (a) ACTS — the creator demonstrates browsing the Joybuy app interface to find and purchase a projector; (b) APPEARS — watermark logo on screen throughout. Removing it would change the video as it is the platform being promoted. Magcubic: (a) ACTS — the projector is unboxed, operated, and its features are demonstrated; (b) APPEARS — brand name on the box and the projector itself. Removing it would change the video as it is the product being reviewed.
