There's a tiny little button in Chrome that I think teachers are seriously underusing, but it saves me clicks every single day. Hi, I'm Catherine, I'm an instructional coach and ITRT sharing quick tips to make teacher life easier and you're going to want to save this one. Save yourself hundreds of clicks a day by turning this little Chrome home button into a shortcut to your own digital dashboard. I built myself a super practical digital dashboard in Google Sheets. Mine has all the websites and resources I used most, so I don't have to hunt for the same links over and over. Once you've made your dashboard, copy the URL to your Google Sheets dashboard and then open Chrome settings. Look for appearance. Make sure the toggle beside show home button is toggled on. Then you're going to choose the option for custom web address and paste the link to your Google Sheets dashboard and press enter. Now, no matter where you are in Chrome, just click home and everything you use is right at your fingertips.
