Hanging pendants

Let's DIY some hanging pendants PART 1 for my instructional coaching meeting room these were too expensive on Amazon so I decided to make my own version out of these baskets that I got from Walmart for about $18 each I started by cutting the handles off of each basket this was pretty easy for these baskets cause it was just that basket material not like a wire handle and next I poked a small hole in the bottom and threaded some rope through the bottom I got this rope at Walmart too for about $7 and definitely could have gotten a smaller roll because I had way more than I needed once I threaded the rope through the bottom I flipped the basket over and tied a few knots to keep it in place I thought about adding puck lights but the battery life wasn't very long for any of them that I could find and I don't want to get on a ladder to pull them down and change the batteries constantly so I just don't think they're gonna have lights they're just gonna be for a hanging aesthetic I think they turned out pretty great though for around $20 each and I plan to hang them above the couch seating area so I'll be sure to post the final look once I get them hung up
