It started with a passport stamp for my daughter’s 10th birthday… and turned into a worldwide mother-daughter adventure. 🌎🛂✨ For Rian’s 10th birthday in 2024, weeks took her to the Louis Vuitton flagship store in Paris gifted her a passport cover and got it hot-stamped. Little did we know that one stamp would become a travel tradition and collector’s item that we would continue across the world. 💕 That year, we visited 10 different countries together and stopped at Louis Vuitton stores along the way to collect additional hot stamps. And let me tell you…Japan was HARD! 😂🇯🇵 We tried, and they denied us. So yes, some stamps are definitely easier to get than others! But my absolute FAVORITE experience was in Malaysia. 🇲🇾 The customer service was incredible. They didn’t just stamp Rian’s passport cover and send us on our way. They took the time to sit with us, get to know us, hear about our journey, and understand the story behind this little collection we were building together. That made it so much more special. ❤️ If you're traveling internationally, this is such a fun activity to add to your itinerary. You don't need an appointment, but I HIGHLY recommend calling the store ahead of time to ask if they have a hot stamp machine because they aren't available at every location. And here's another tip: Marrakech currently doesn't have a hot stamp machine. 🇲🇦 The store is encouraging customers to contact corporate and request one because Marrakech is reportedly one of the most requested cities without the service.
