GREAT NORTH RUN 2026 🥹🩵🌟 came into this with ONE goal: have fun, soak up the crowds, and enjoy every second of it…and somehow came out with a PR too??? 😭 I genuinely don’t think I stopped smiling the entire 21.1km. The crowds, the energy, the music, the random people cheering my name, the little kids giving high fives 🥹🥹🥹 I was just having THE BEST TIME!!!! and getting to run the BIGGEST half marathon in the world abroad AND in my boyfriend’s hometown made it even more special 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧 definitely a race I’ll never forget! After the race I ran ANOTHER 9km for Chicago training!!! so also hit a distance PR of 30km 🕺🏽🕺🏽🕺🏽 but honestly, the time is almost secondary. I just feel so lucky that running has become something that brings me this much joy.
