Why it worked

The video leverages the popular ASMR trend, using satisfying sounds and a visually engaging, repetitive creative process to keep viewers watching.

Summary

The creator performs an ASMR junk journaling session, cutting out and pasting various magazine clippings and stickers, including Gucci-themed imagery, into a notebook. The video focuses on the tactile sounds and visual process of creating a collage spread.

Structure

1Introduction of the journal and theme
2Selecting and cutting magazine clippings
3Applying glue to the journal page
4Arranging and pasting the Gucci-themed cutouts
5Finalizing the journal spread

Product placement

Gucci (a luxury fashion brand) appears as a logo on a magazine page, a sticker on a water bottle, and is cut out and pasted into a journal; it merely appears as a design element. Samyang (a food brand) appears as a logo on a bag of Buldak potato chips; it merely appears as a design element. None of these brands act or are being sold.
