From one Mississippi mama creator to another. I'm gonna get into this whole drama with that Nicole girl and the shoe girl. A lot of people don't know this, but them girls only live like an hour from me. I literally go shopping at Hasburg all the time. I was in Hasburg the same day they were in Hasburg at one point. So to sit here and say that I don't have an opinion on this, y'all crazy. Because let me just tell y'all how the South works. Everybody knows everybody, okay? And we all end up acting like we're family or claiming we're family or we all end up going to rival towns and hate each other. But I'm gonna tell y'all what's going on with these women in about two point two seconds. It's called ego. When you get on social media and you start making some progress and you start getting some clout, it is so easy for it to go to your head. I've been doing this since 2018 and I would be lying if I said that at some point it didn't go to my head. As a matter of fact, I've had a ton of friends that I've met online that I've lost along the way over this same issue. I'm talking about people that have slept at my house and had partied with my family and celebrated my milestones and people that we broke bread together, we made money together, and they have turned around and snake me behind my back, talked the most crap on me and disowned me and on a level that I never thought would happen. So this petty shit about them not inviting each other on places because of politics, somebody take something. The South is very political, okay? Everybody in the South has an opinion about something and everybody in the South is gonna tell you their opinion. So I don't know why everybody is so confused or up in arms that old girl has an opinion on politics. I think along with half of the people in this entire country, we all want to change and we've all voted for things that we thought would help bring us forward and we all believe that are based off of our morals and values. Just because we don't all agree with everybody doesn't mean that we have to cancel ourselves or cancel each other. I've been friends with people who are pro-abortion and I am not. I've been friends with people who are pro other things and I'm not. I mean, I have a vehicle and my husband works in the oil industry, okay? It's okay to be friends with people who have different beliefs than you. I think the thing about the South is that everything has to turn into something. And I think a lot of this has to do with ego. And as a creator who's been on this platform and been thousands and thousands of followers that I've lost because of things that I chose to say and do and promote on this platform. One thing I won't ever do is sell myself out or sell myself short. So I want to tell both parties if this is something that's not gonna matter in 30 days, 90 days, or even a year, don't let it ruin something good. But more importantly, don't let this go to your head because one day you can have a big following and you can be viral and the next day you can be literally be begging people to watch your videos and not a single person knows your name. It happened to me and honey, it can happen to you too. I think this whole mess just needs to be squashed and y'all just need to move on. Take that from your Southern mama who's older than you, wiser than you, and closer enough to whoop your ass if you don't move on.
