My hot take that shouldn't be a hot take is that male and female body counts will never be the same. And before I get hate, I'm a pretty forward thinker, I don't slut shame and I think all girls should be free to do what they want to do. I don't give a fuck. But we can never ever act like the double standard of male and female body counts shouldn't exist. It should exist for a different reason. The process of courting that type of intimacy is very different from male and female. And I saw someone explain this using a situation of someone walking into a bar. If a male walked into a bar and said, hey, who wants to have sex with me? Do you think anyone's going to be like, yes, yes, yes, like he'd be seen as a creep and a weirdo and that would probably in fact, turn girls off of him. But if a woman walked into a bar and said, hey, who wants to have sex with me? I promise you, man, like, they're going to say yes. Even if they don't walk up to them straight away, they're going to find their way to her. The reason why a high body count for a male and a female shouldn't be the same is the fact that a guy who's had sex with a lot of women, he has to have some sort of perceived value to actually attract that many women. But girls in general don't have to have any sort of specific like perceived value to be able to court sex. And that's exactly why it's not the same. Because a man who's been with a lot of girls, he either has money or has some good qualities about him. But a girl just has to be a girl. And she can get as much as she wants.
