Let's customize this Glorbus cat figure 👽 👾 The amazing artist Nyahgrem sent her Glorbus to a few artists, for them to be sold later to support a cat charity 💚 I start by cutting off the gems as they're not part of my new design I worked on for the occasion :3 I was so scared to damage it but I have to cut an arm and a tail for my idea... I actually had to break down many parts and it felt like I was going backwards instead of customising it... I initially planned to create multiple designs, but I loved the first one so much that I decided to stick to it! So before I start painting I have to fix and clean the broken parts and holes I made >:< Then I kind of created new antennas, but you will see that I will change them later anyway to make them way more interesting with some lights instead... Yet we are not done hurting Glorbus... T-T We need to hollow out the ears and eyes, and I was pretty scared that it would look bad... At this point I was sanding so much resin... I found a great hack using a transparent food plastic bag to sand inside it and avoid putting dust everywhere :D Honestly I know I could have just chosen the easy way and "just paint it", as it resulted in days of prep and sanding... But I'm sure it's gonna be worth it and I really wanted to give my best <3 Then I created small parables for the antennas >:) Each time that I used epoxy putty, I had to wait until the next day to be able to sand it and start working on new parts again >:< The whole preparation process took so much time but finally, I can glue back the main part of the tail, using some wires and epoxy glue! Now phase one is complete! :D Next step is to destroy more of the cat to integrate some LED lights in the antennas... Stay tuned!
