Why it worked

The creator uses a provocative name ('jawbreaker') and a visually striking product (colorful, layered candy) to pique viewer curiosity. The humor derived from the extreme hardness of the candy and the creator's skepticism about its advertised contents likely contributed to engagement.

Summary

The creator shows two colorful, spherical candies, one of which is a "jawbreaker" with many layers. She explains that these candies are called jawbreakers because they are hard like stone and have many layers, and that the colorful ones are called "psychedelic" due to their appearance. She expresses skepticism about the promise of gum inside and demonstrates the hardness of the candy by trying to bite it.
