🌎 (English version) Do you remember this video? 🥺 We were selected to participate in the World Youth Festival 2026, but in the end, we were unable to attend because the flights we needed to travel were never provided. We did receive a response expressing their sincere apologies and explaining that they were unable to find flights for us. However, we believe that an apology alone is not enough. Behind every application, there is time, effort, and hope. Many of us went through a selection process, prepared documents and interviews, and dedicated weeks to pursuing this opportunity. Once we were selected, we also made arrangements to attend: we requested time off from work, set aside the dates, rearranged our commitments, and prepared to represent our countries. That is why we believe the selected participants deserve a clear and public explanation of what happened, as well as transparency about what will be done to prevent a situation like this from happening again. This is not simply about a trip that did not happen. It was an opportunity that many of us worked hard for and that meant a lot to us. 🌎 #wyf #worldyouthfestival #rusia #peru #becas
