WHERE DID YOU COME FROM
OH,
I DON'T KNOW WHAT KIND OF STARFISH THIS IS, BUT I DO KNOW HE WAS ALIVE BECAUSE HIS LITTLE TUBE FEET WERE TICKLING MY HAND AND MOVING AROUND WHEN I FLIPPED IT OVER.
THERE'S A LITTLE LOOK AT HIM ON HIS UNDERSIDE.
I DON'T KNOW IF YOU CAN REALLY SEE THEM MOVING FROM HERE, BUT THEY DEFINITELY WERE.
I DON'T KNOW IF HE WAS ON HIS WAY OUT, BUT REGARDLESS, I PUT HIM BACK IN THE WATER AND I HOPE HE'S DOING OKAY.
WHAT A NICE LITTLE FUN SPINE THIS WAS.

I have never seen a starfish at the Jersey Shore in my 30 years of living here, but there's a first time for everything. Hold on. Look at this cutie. Where did you come from? Oh.
