I know I asked y’all what I should do next… and BOY did y’all have suggestions. 😂 Change the pots. Change the door. Change this. Move that. Take that down. Add this instead. But here’s the thing: you’re judging the middle like it’s the reveal. 👀 There is a vision for the front of this house, and there has been a reason behind every purchase I’ve made so far. We just aren’t at the part where it all makes sense yet. The coral door looks a little crazy right now. 😂 The rainbow vinyl is literally going to stay HALF FINISHED. The pots have a purpose. And there are still plenty of projects left in this season of Romancing My House. We still have a front deck to build, two chevron trellises to install, a wood planter with those big black house numbers to make, the rest of the window vinyl to finish… and probably 14 other things I’ll decide we need along the way. 😂 But for the next week? She’s staying exactly like this. Because I’m getting on a boat. 🚢 And maybe part of romancing your life is learning that everything doesn’t have to be finished before you’re allowed to enjoy it. The house will be here when I get back. The projects will be here when I get back. The vision isn’t going anywhere. And this woman needs some well-deserved REST. ✌🏼 So tell me honestly: Could you leave for vacation with your house sitting mid-project like this and completely enjoy yourself… or would you spend the entire trip thinking about everything you need to finish when you get home? 😂
