This was my oldest daughters Room 9 years ago when we moved into this home, we wanted to create a space that would sleep multiple people if we had family stay We started planning from a Pinterest Inspo My Husband is a Contractor So projects like this at home are always fun! This is my Son at 2! He's always helping and learning from Dad! This was the inspo picture I found, but I knew my talented Husband would make it even better This is the bunks finished and painted My kids have loved this design and set up but..... On this day Sep 8, 2025 My daughter is almost 13 And my son is now 7, he wanted to bunk room and my daughter wanted a more teen sophisticated room So it was time to redo this room for my son This is a poor photo but this was his nautical nursery, he still loves his fishing theme. So we kept most things and added to it for the bunks Yesterday we finished This room for him, we painted the room Jean Jacket Blue by Behr I love how the blue really makes this room pop now, bedding and rug are from Amazon and pillows are IKEA Still on the fence about this rug though
