Today is day 14 of decluttering one small space in my house every day. Today I'm cleaning out what is a classic junk drawer. It's full of all kinds of little odds and ends, pencils, random rubber bands, screws from things that we have no idea what they go to. We're going to clean it out, get rid of anything that we don't need, and reorganize it. I feel like a lot of us have drawers like this in our house. What's like a thing that you always associate with a junk drawer? Mine is like the random rubber bands. Why do we always have rubber bands? Now that the drawer has been vacuumed out and wiped clean, we are ready to install the organizer. I bought another SpaceAid drawer divider system. This is another one that has the four long spring-loaded dividers and nine compartment dividers. Since this drawer is typically full of a lot of small things, I'm probably going to use all of the compartment dividers in here so that I can have a lot of little sections to put the different things in. The longer dividers are spring-loaded, so they use tension to hold in place and they're also capped with thick rubber pieces which keeps them from sliding. As I'm putting things back in, I just keep adding dividers as needed. And if I ever need to change this up or what I want to put in each compartment later on, it's very easy to readjust. So now everything that I'm keeping is back in the drawer. I did take a few things from here and put into some of the other drawers where I had space and then I got rid of a lot of the junk that we don't need anymore. So this is still a junk drawer, it's just an extremely organized one. And I'll link the divider down below. Thanks for watching and hope to see you back for day 15.
