The Vectorscope — it looks complicated… but it really isn’t. 🎨 If you’re getting into colour grading, understanding your scopes can make a huge difference. In this reel I break down the Vectorscope and show you how to actually read it — from understanding where your colours sit, to hue, saturation, the colour targets and that all-important skin tone line. One of the easiest ways to remember it: 🎨 Direction = Hue ↔️ Distance from the centre = Saturation Once you understand what the scope is actually showing you, it becomes much easier to make intentional colour decisions rather than simply relying on what looks right on your monitor.
