“For that price, I might as well hire a maid,” !!!! 😳 We’ve always tried our best to keep our services as affordable as we can. And we genuinely appreciate every person who sees the value in what we do, trusts us with their homes, and understands that there is so much more behind the hours we spend there. But sometimes, it does hurt, especially when people from our own community perceive us as a service that simply “likes to charge expensive.” Our work is hard labour. But it is not just hard labour. It comes with knowledge, skills, planning, systems, manpower, supplies, experience, storage to pay and a whole lot of physical and mental effort. We don’t simply come into your home and clean. We declutter with you. We help you decide what stays and what goes. We create systems that make sense for your family. We give every item a purpose and a place. We look at how you actually live and help make your daily flow easier. The goal isn’t just for your home to look nice when we leave. It’s for the space to continue working for you long after we’re gone. And just to be clear, this is not us undermining cleaners or domestic helpers. Absolutely not. They do an incredible and necessary job, and cleaning is a completely different service. Our work simply serves a different purpose. So when someone says, “For that price, I might as well hire a maid,” we understand that everyone has a different budget and perspective. But we hope you’ll also understand that what we provide cannot really be measured by the number of hours we spend in your home. You’re not paying us just to move things around. You’re paying for the thought, system, effort and intention behind why things are moved in the first place. And for the relief that comes when you finally feel like your home is working with you, instead of against you. 🤍 We will always continue doing our best to keep our services accessible, while also honouring the value of the work that we do. #thespaceeditsg #professionalorganizer
