#3 is SO easy! (you’ll want to save this) 1 - First you have to get SUPER clear where your money is going. Track your spending. Every dollar. But also learn how to create a budget that doesn’t make you hate your life. 2 - Determine which debt carries the highest interest rate. Knock off the highest interest rate debt first (I’m talking credit cards!!!) After that, there are different strategies for paying off remaining debt - let me know if you want this broken down! 3 - Accelerated biweekly payments on your mortgage This is one banks don’t want you to know! Accelerated biweekly tricks you into making extra payments then just regular biweekly payments. Trust me, you wont notice the difference but the mortgage balance does. 4 - Avoid lifestyle creep When you get a raise, don’t increase your spending habits. Living below your means is the most underrated hack out there. 5 - Lump sum payments This will shave YEARS off your mortgage! Don’t buy the new iPhone, just put that money on your damn mortgage and debt. #5 was the main reason I was able to knock years off my mortgage. Just always watch for repayment penalties (there’s a maximum amount you can put down before you get penalized aka charged extra $) None of its extreme! But that’s the whole point… the boring things add up so quick. follow for more money chats 🤍
