Episode 1 of Rating Roast Dinners in Hampshire This week we headed to Orange Grove Hotel & Gardens in Sarisbury, just outside Southampton. I went for the chicken roast (£21) and Charlie went for the duo of beef (£23.50). They also have a vegetarian roast for £18.50 🌱 Overall, I was a little disappointed with my roast potatoes 🥲 BUT I think I might have just got a bad bunch because Charlie’s looked so much crispier than mine! The gravy was really nice with a good consistency, and if you’re a gravy lover you’ll be VERY happy because this roast was absolutely dripping in it 😂 Personally, I don’t love loads of gravy, so next time I’d definitely ask for mine on the side. The Yorkshire pudding was lovely and BIG, and I actually really liked the kale.
