Why it worked

The video addresses a common pain point for both service providers (no-shows) and clients (difficulty finding immediate appointments), offering a direct solution through a relatable personal story and a clear call to action for the app.

Summary

The creator, a hair stylist, missed out on income due to a no-show appointment. She created an app called HairNow to connect service providers with clients seeking immediate appointments, allowing stylists to fill last-minute openings and clients to find services quickly.

Transcript

So I was at a hair stylist, I said, "Ulta Beauty," and I had a no-show for an 8-hour dreadlock appointment, which caused me to lose quite a bit of money that day. And I was sitting there trying to think of the solution to the problem. And I thought, well, it would be cool to go online and see who needed a hair appointment right now that could just, like, see that I was a really good hair stylist and I was available. I just got no-showed. When I realized I didn't exist, I created it. So if you're a service provider, you might want to check out HairNow and see if you like this technology. It's an app. It's an app that connects service providers with people looking for a service right now in real time. Check it out.
