Things Canadians say that people think are weird. Anything with a T in the middle, we don't pronounce. We pronounce it as a D. So, water -> wader. Battery -> baddery. Better -> bedder. City -> Cidy. Toronto -> Torono. Can you pass me that water bottle? Not that water bottle. I don't know why we do this. You can always tell if somebody doesn't live here because they'll say Toronto, not Toronto.
