This case is horrifying because the warning signs were not buried. Gregory Green had already served 16 years in prison for killing his first wife. After his release, a pastor supported the idea that he deserved a chance to rebuild his life. Years later, Green married that pastor’s daughter. And in 2016, that family was shattered. Green later pleaded guilty to four counts of second-degree murder, along with torture, assault, and a firearm charge, and was sentenced to 47–102 years in prison. That is the part I cannot get past: A man with a history of killing his wife was given another opportunity to build a family… and decades later, another family ended in unimaginable violence. This is one of those cases that forces a brutal question: When does redemption become reckless trust? #GregoryGreen #TrueCrime #MichiganCrime #TrueCrimeCase #CrimeTok
