Making a journal at L.E.M. Designs is truly a passion project. As lifelong journalers and crafters, we take our time with this extremely slow craft. Absolutely every step of this process takes patience to be well done. From cutting leather, beveling, burnishing, sewing, ironing interface, designing, and making the perfect charms, we don’t cut corners (well, except for when we cut corners on leather and fabric). We so appreciate everyone's patience while we build journals for our upcoming collections. We have no current plans to scale. That would mean likely losing either the quality or heart of what we do: one of a kind pieces that feel like little worlds in your hands.
