I apologize. Um, what? This is Amika, one of the most advanced humanoid robots in the world. She's amazed millions of people online with her lifelike and lately with her art. Amika was asked to draw a cat. She picked up the pen, carefully sketched it, and then just, she signed her name at the bottom. It was simple, but clearly a cat. Then someone told her the drawing looked unfinished, and Amika didn't take it well. She looked back and said, "It's a sketch. If you don't like my art, you probably just don't understand art." A little defensive, and honestly, very human. It's funny to watch, but it also makes you wonder, if robots can already push back when we criticize their work, what happens when they become even smarter? The first sign of machines that one day get upset? One day?
