Because apparently my idea of quality family time is handing my kids a shovel and telling them to start digging for rocks. For our latest weird Missouri adventure, we went digging for MOZARKITE! 💎 Mozarkite is Missouri’s official state rock ⛏️ You can actually dig for it yourself 🌈 It comes in all kinds of colors and patterns 🪨 And yes, finding a good piece is ridiculously satisfying This is exactly the kind of quirky Midwest adventure I LOVE finding with my kids. Give me a weird roadside attraction, obscure museum, cave, rock mine, strange piece of history, or experience that makes you say “Wait…you can DO that?!” and I’m there.
