Walt Whitman Shops

Why it worked

The video uses a relatable 'day-in-the-life' aesthetic and a rhythmic, repetitive script structure that makes the shopping experience feel aspirational and easy to consume.

Summary

A creator vlogs a shopping trip to Walt Whitman Shops, showcasing various stores like Sephora, Anthropologie, Mango, and Zara. The video highlights the experience of retail therapy and ends with a branded tag for Simon Property Group.

Structure

1Introduction to the mall as a happy place
2Browsing beauty products at Sephora
3Shopping for trendy accessories and bags
4Coffee break at Starbucks
5Trying on clothes at Mango and Zara

My kind of happy place? A good shopping day at Walt Whitman 🤍🛍️ @themall @waltwhitmanshops Sephora for the best makeup, skincare & haircare finds, Anthropologie is my go-to for trendy pieces, like cute water bottles, bags, cups & accessories, Mango + Zara for fresh wardrobe finds… and of course, Starbucks is a must every single time! ☕️ It’s just one of those places I can always wander around, find something I love, grab a coffee and leave feeling inspired 🤍👗 #sponsored #itsasimonthing #itsmymallthing #simonmalls #longislandny

Anthropologie (retailer): it ACTS as a destination where products are browsed; removing it would change the video. Starbucks (coffee chain): it ACTS as a destination for coffee; removing it would change the video. There's a place you go when you don't know what you're looking for, and somehow, always find it. Because I can always find something I love. Because I can always count on finding the best trendy finds. Because there's nothing like a little retail therapy. Because the Starbucks stop is non-negotiable. Because there's always something new to try on. Because I always leave smiling and never empty-handed. It's a Simon thing.
