Egypt is not safe for solo traveling. I've been to 19 countries and travelled solo to 10. And so far Egypt has been the most unsafe country I've visited. I've ever felt well travelling abroad. I was very hesitant about making this video because I'm aware that when people hear negative comments about their country, we become very defensive about it. However, this is my experience and the experience of many women who have also traveled to Egypt solo. Not saying that people don't have good experiences there, especially if they're in groups or if there's a man with them. However, solo, I did not feel safe in Egypt. And I will rate my overall experience a zero out of 10. For the moment I got off the plane, I was treated like absolute garbage. The representative people to speak to people in front of me, people behind me on the line, English continuously all ask any instructions.
