The Update I Feared Sharing A sincere update on my beloved vintage Coach Manor bag, which I sent for custom work in February 2026 and received in September 2026. The bag was returned in a condition that I consider damaged and inconsistent with the custom design we agreed upon. Based on what was posted versus what I ultimately received, I felt the progress shown online did not accurately represent the work completed on my bag. The artist was/is @randomlostsoul on TikTok, where I’m now blocked, and @curatedbyjay88 on Instagram, which is either unavailable or I’m blocked there too. 🤷🏻‍♀️ This is a cautionary review of my experience- NOT an invitation to bully or harass anyone. Sharing this took a lot because I was, and still am, worried about potential retaliation. But this cannot keep happening to people who sincerely trust someone with a treasured item. I was heartbroken by an outcome that I believe involved dishonesty and possible retaliation. To some, it’s “just a bag,” but this hobby brings me joy and gives me an escape from life’s stresses. Please do your homework, ask questions, document everything, and look beyond the hype for communication, accountability, and good work ethic. With that said, I’m ready to close this chapter and get back to what I love…sharing beautiful bags, learning their history, and having fun with this amazing community.
