I cannot believe I woke up to this at 4AM 😂 My neighbor sent me this video because apparently my dog decided that breaking into his house in the middle of the night was a totally reasonable idea… all because she wanted to get into his pool. HIS. POOL. Not ours. Not the public pool. Not a puddle. His actual backyard pool 😂💦 Meanwhile my poor neighbor woke up to noises, full-on thinking he was about to confront a burglar… only to walk downstairs and find my unapologetic, soaking-wet little criminal doing laps like she owns the place. No shame. No fear. No hesitation. Just maximum confidence and Olympic-level enthusiasm at 4 in the morning 😭🐶 And the worst part? She looked PROUD of herself. Tail wagging. Big smile. Like, “Oh hey, you’re up early! Wanna swim too?” Meanwhile I’m trying to apologize via text, half-asleep, like, I swear she has a home… and a pool… and supervision… sometimes. I’m honestly just impressed she managed to break in. The dedication. The commitment. The pure athleticism required for this chaotic little mission. I mean… should I ground her? Should I enter her into agility competitions? Should I install a GPS ankle monitor? Who knows at this point 🤦‍♀️ Anyway, shoutout to the best neighbor ever for not calling the cops on my water-obsessed delinquent and instead sending me video evidence of her aquatic crime spree. I’ll be bringing him cookies later as an apology (and maybe a lock for his gate). Raising a dog is truly humbling.
