Before you is the Jetson One, a real, fully functional personal flying machine. This is not a concept or an experimental prototype, but a full-fledged, single-seat machine capable of easily taking off and landing vertically. It is incredibly light and looks like something between a drone and a Formula 1 car. It has an enclosed protective cockpit and a structure made of aluminum and carbon. The maximum speed is software-limited to keep the flight safe at 100 kilometers per hour and the altitude up to 450 meters. Eight motors provide propulsion, and even if one fails, the machine will safely continue its flight. An automatic landing system is built in for unforeseen situations, and for extreme cases, a ballistic parachute that deploys almost instantly. Judging by reviews and videos, the controls are surprisingly simple and intuitive. The company claims anyone can get used to it and feel like a pilot in just a few minutes. As of today, the company has completely sold out its batches for 2026 and 2027, and the price for the 2028 model is stated as $148,000.
