My hipster millennial optimism era, continued. It sounds so corny, but I really do have to credit tumblr to introducing me to a whole world outside of my very sheltered life in my tiny hometown. At 18, it showed me there was a place for people like me, who marched to the beat of their own drum. It gave me a creative outlet, and it was so rewarding to see the vulnerable things I shared resonated with others. It opened doors for me, and introduced me to friends like @Emily Vaughn 💞 Since (reluctantly) joining TikTok, I’ve almost felt like this is the adult version of that for me.
