Why it worked

The video addresses a common user pain point (missing a feature update) with clear, actionable steps, leveraging the platform's native features and community interaction (tagging an account) to drive engagement and provide a solution.

Summary

The creator explains two methods for users to obtain the new lyrics update on TikTok. The first method involves updating the TikTok app through the App Store, and the second method suggests tagging the official TikTok account in the comments to request the update.

Structure

1Introduction to the problem: inability to get the TikTok lyrics update.
2Method 1: Update the TikTok app via the App Store.
3Method 2: Tag the official TikTok account in comments.
4Demonstration of accessing the teleprompter feature.
5Concluding remarks on the process.

Product placement

TikTok (app): A social media platform for creating and sharing short-form videos. It ACTS by allowing users to create and share videos, and its features are being demonstrated. Removing it would change what happens in the video. TikTok (account): The official account for TikTok, used to demonstrate a feature. It APPEARS as a profile page. Removing it would change what happens in the video.

And they'll be like, Yeah, you can. Then to get the teleprompter, you want to click on this little thing right here. And then you kind of like add a song but obviously I don't have a song on there right now. And so, like that, you can do it then. And so, like that, you can do it then.
