Your curl type is not a shopping list 😭 When I choose products for a client, I care way more about what result they want than whether they’re 2C, 3B, 4A, whatever. Want soft, fluffy volume? Keep it light. Want definition + hold? Bring in more structure. Puffy roots? Put the hold where the problem actually is. And no, drugstore does not automatically mean bad, and salon-quality does not automatically mean perfect. It’s about weight, hold, buildup, layering, and whether your cleansing routine is keeping up. Before you buy another product, ask yourself: what do I actually want my hair to look like?
