Why it worked

The video taps into a shared experience of concert-goers and fans, highlighting a relatable "fail" moment from a major artist's performance. The use of on-screen text and emojis effectively conveys the creator's humorous disappointment and anticipation for the next day.

Summary

This video captures a moment during The Weeknd's concert in Jakarta where the artist seemingly missed a cue to look at the camera. The creator expresses disappointment that the moment was "switched" incorrectly and hopes for a better experience on Day 2.

Structure

1Concert begins, The Weeknd performs
2Creator notes The Weeknd missed a camera cue
3Creator shows The Weeknd posing, then a camera switch error
4Creator expresses disappointment and hope for Day 2

Product placement

The Weeknd (musician) - ACTS - performs music, interacts with audience and cameras. Removing him would change the video. JKT Diem Please (creator handle/page) - APPEARS - watermark/logo in the corner. Removing it would not change what happens in the video.
