Homecoming Day! Here in Tennessee. Let's do this. Go Vols. I'm going to start with my nieces. These open up quite nicely just with the plant food and the kind of lukewarm water, but these, we're going to pick those off. Start with the roses and do that. Then we're going to just open it up a little bit. There we go. We're opened up a little bit. Same thing with all your roses first. And the next few clips are just how I put my bouquet together. You could just save this or watch it on double speed for when you are going to put yours together. But I got everything here from either Walmart, Publix, or Trader Joe's. So you don't have to spend a fortune. You don't have to go to a florist. You can get all of this stuff at local grocery stores. And I kept a little bit of like a looseness in the stems, that way if I wanted to plug something in or I saw a gap or a void, I could just slide that in easily. And I made two of these, so I'll post the blue bouquet that I made for my son's date here in just a couple hours when I can put that together. Okay, here's where we're at. I'm going to use some floral wire, as I can do this with my left hand. Just if you haven't done this before, do this step one. Slide it up to kind of the top. Can you see? Just have to be at the very tippy top, but just somewhere that'll keep your bouquet together, because you might want to reposition a little bit. Have cut the stems. I'll set that in there, so that I can get some more of this wire out. And now, wrap the bottom so that they stay kind of tight together with the ribbon. This is for my niece and she wanted the bottom of the stems exposed, so I just wrap down until I had a little area exposed. And I used a 1.5 inch ribbon, and then you take a little loop, wrap all the way down and then back up to the top, and then you're going to pull that tail through the loop, and that helps you kind of slide and tighten up the ribbon. Then you're just going to tuck the remaining tails into what you've wrapped around the stems, just like you see me doing right here in these videos. For the bow that I'm going to put on this, I'm using a 7/8 inch ribbon. It's the same color, it's the same satin, it's literally the exact same brand, it's just a smaller ribbon, but I didn't want it to be so thick and chunky. And I'm going to pin that in place just because this is going to get handled a lot and I don't want it to get moved or shifted out of place. And then this is extra, but I think it makes the bouquet. I got these from Walmart for $1.50 and I just hot glue them onto the satin ribbon. And these are floral picks from Hobby Lobby, I split them up, just for some extra glitz. Ta-da-da-da. I thought she needed some tails. Just enough to where the tips are barely in the water. And then when it comes out, just a quick little shake, dry with paper towel, and there you go. And that's it.
