Okay, let's start over at bed one. 32 year old female presents with a 5-day history of expansive mood, decreased need for sleep, and racing thoughts. Okay, sounds to me like bipolar two, just because she didn't reach full mania yet. She recently spent $15,000 on a new car and she cannot afford it. Um, the website is studyfetch.com!!! It still sounds to me like maybe they just wanna say like, hypomania. Is that what they want to do? Speech is pressured, easily distracted. Manic episode. No. She has no prior history of a similar episode, but did have a period of profound suicidal ideation two years. Maybe they just want me to do like, bipolar disorder and just type it out. Current episode is severe enough to cause marked impairment in social functioning and requires hospitalization. Girl, I know it's bipolar. Gonna have to put the number then. Requires hospitalization. She's definitely bipolar 1. Um, okay, that was trickier than I thought. Okay, bed two. 45 year old male presents two week period of depressed mood, loss of interest, and early morning awakening. Major depressive disorder, cause it's that two week mark.
