A year ago, I never could have imagined the version of motherhood I’d be living today. We were dreaming about adding another little one to our family, completely unaware that our family would soon be forever changed in a way we never could have prepared for. Now I get to watch one daughter grow while carrying the absence of another in everything I do. There is so much love here, and so much loss here, too.
