If you didn’t know rawhide is animal hide thats stretched, pressed, chemically treated and a well known cause for blockage, choking & sits in your dogs stomach unable to be digested… yes theres a risk with any natural chew, theres a risk any time your dog eats anything, theres a risk when you throw a ball or a stick, but why CHOOSE an option we know is unsafe in every manner? At least with a piece of beef headskin, its just that - an air dried piece of skin, its not covered in chemicals, its not layers and layers stretched and pressed…. a company may say their rawhides okay because they remove the chemicals before its sold, but does that make it okay? Not in my opinion, they also sell 100% deer hide, 100% beef hide… why the need for rawhide? Why disguise rawhide as a bull pizzle when its 97% rawhide and 3% bull pizzle? That doesn’t sit well with me at all… sorry if you don’t agree 😎🥲
