One of the hardest parts of parenting an autistic child with limited communication is not always knowing what hurts or how serious it is. 🤍 Vivienne has a history of ovarian cysts, so when she started pointing to her stomach, my brain immediately went 17 steps ahead. And as a solo parent, those “what ifs” feel different now. I have an ouraring and love having my own health and wellness data, and moments like this make me wish I had more baseline information for her too. Not to diagnose anything, just another piece of information when she can’t always tell me how she feels. But today I’m reminding myself: I don't have to solve something that hasn't happened. I just have to take care of what's in front of me today. 🤍 #AutismMom #AutismParenting #SoloParent #SpecialNeedsParenting #OuraRing @ouraring
