No this stuff genuinely annoys me more than it should because this is a direct consequence of 2026 being flooded with edits that are either just stretched clips with a Capcut fade transition or clips JUST cut to the beat. No transitions, motion graphs, even the SLIGHTEST amount of color correction and still getting millions of likes. And it’s not even that I dislike this style of editing where it’s action matched to a beat. There’s a really underrated editor on YouTube named JaQenka who does this style beautifully. But just LOOK at this. It’s the same sound effect each time non-diagetically with the most boring lyric text with a song that has no correlation to the clips used. I don’t wanna get all “back in my day” but before 2024 genuinely every edit had at least a modicum of effort put into it. I think the catalyst for this was glitch filter Invincible edits in 2025 but the ramifications for that have unironically lowered people’s standards into hell. Not to sound pretentious too but how untrained does your brain have to be to genuinely consider stuff like this to be a good edit when you won’t even try anything else. #edit #editing #funny #fyp #viral
