Rat Race You spend your whole life running through the maze thinking happiness is waiting at the end. Get the money. Get the house. Get the car. Get the relationship. Get the promotion. Then you finally reach the finish line… and somehow, there’s another maze. So you run again. Another goal. Another milestone. Another thing you tell yourself will finally make you feel complete. The finish line keeps moving because the maze was never designed to have one. Maybe the real escape isn’t figuring out how to run the maze faster. Maybe it’s realizing you don’t have to keep running it at all. The rat race only has power over you when you believe the cheese at the end is worth spending your entire life chasing.
