It might sound harsh, but I usually never offer her an alternative. If she doesn’t eat her dinner, she doesn’t eat it. But, if it’s something I know she genuinely don’t like, I would never force her to eat it, I want her to listen to her body and what she likes and doesn’t like. I also had the same dinner and it was vile so of course I completely understood why she didn’t like it.
