Oregon head coach Dan Lanning said UCLA head coach Bob Chesney offered to check in on Dante Moore after he suffered a concussion on a 'late hit' against USC. 'He text me as they were traveling back to LA and said, ‘Hey, if you need my help with Dante or anything and he’s still in LA, I’ll go check on this guy. I’m giving the team off tomorrow; let me know.' 'It speaks to the kind of person he is. I’ve got a lot of respect for him and his program.' 'It was unusual,' Lanning added. 'Pretty amazing. Great credit to Bob. And he didn’t do it so he could hear me say it in an interview. It was genuine, and it’s certainly appreciated. I’ve got a ton of respect for Bob and the way that he runs his program, and obviously, the results on the field speak for themselves.' Moore was knocked out of the game by USC linebacker Desman Stephens II while sliding for a first down. Stephens was penalized and then ejected from the game. He also was suspended for one game. There is no timetable for Moore's return however the Oregon star updated fans on social media saying 'I'll be back soon.' Oregon is currently on their bye week with their next game being UCLA on October 10th. #bobchesney #ucla #oregon #oregonfootball #CollegeFootball
