Why it worked

The video leverages the high emotional engagement of the Jujutsu Kaisen fandom by pairing popular characters with a melancholic, lyrical edit that resonates with the show's established angst.

Summary

This is a fan-made edit featuring characters from the anime Jujutsu Kaisen, set to music with lyrics appearing as on-screen text. The video focuses on the emotional relationship between the characters Geto and Gojo.

Structure

1Opening sequence with Geto
2Transition to scenes of Geto and Gojo together
3Montage of various clips showing their shared history
4Final dramatic sequence ending with the word death

Product placement

CapCut: appears as a watermark in the corner. Removing it would not change the video content. It is incidental.

So I swallowed all of it as I realised there was no-one who could kiss away my shit. Do you have any last words? I'll be your morning bright, good night, shadow and sheen. I'll be your record player baby if you know what I mean. I'll be your real tough cookie with the whiskey breath. I'll be a killer and thriller and the cause of our death.
