Product placement

Line (a) acts — the app is operated to show a read receipt and a message status, which is the core mechanism of the video's premise. Removing it would change the video entirely as the joke relies on the specific functionality of the app.

Hey there Shinomiya. How are you? Fine thanks. Why did you call? I was thinking I could offer you a couple of tips since you're so new to using Line. Are you familiar with the term read receipt? Every time you open a message in this app there's a function that notifies the sender. In other words, the sender can see if you've read their texts. Like how I saw the DMs I sent you at different intervals were all marked read the moment after I hit send. Whatever could that mean?
